The Flauto Rondo stands for a warm sound that is balanced in all registers, which can also be achieved without perfect breathing technique and which mixes well in the ensemble. The wood of choice is therefore maple or pear wood. There are rondo flutes in all sizes from sopranino to great bass. All rondos with baroque fingering have double holes or double keys, because only they guarantee clean chromaticism.

The Rondo is the right instrument for those recorder players who would like to make music together with others on a reliable and inexpensive instrument. But with the Rondo you don't need to fear playing solo either.
