The newly redesigned X-Series is made for playing. The acoustic-electric D-X2E features the iconic dreadnought body shape, now available in three striking HPL patterns—mahogany, Brazilian rosewood, or ziricote. The satin-finished spruce top has an elegant abalone-patterned rosette, while HPL back and sides ensure durability and classic Martin style. Playability improvements include a thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing, as well as a modernized bridge contour for a smooth and comfortable playing experience. The signature size is loud and expansive with strong low end, suitable for all genres and experience levels. The D-X2E's neck, fingerboard, and bridge are crafted from select hardwoods, and the Martin E-1 electronics, with a built-in chromatic tuner and volume, tone, and phase controls, let you plug in and play at any volume. All X-Series models come with a softshell case.
