Millennium III action for precise control

The Millennium III key action, built from durable ABS-Carbon composite material, works together with the Acrylic/Phenol key surface to deliver a light, precise touch from the softest pianissimo to the most powerful fortissimo. The solid mahogany hammer cores with underfelt transmit every touch to the soundboard without delay.

AURES 2: the soundboard becomes the speaker

Instead of conventional speakers, the AURES 2 system uses four high-performance transducers mounted directly on the solid spruce soundboard. Digital sounds, rendered using the SK-EX sound engine sampled from the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand, are reproduced in a spatial, natural way that feels close to acoustic playing. All digital functions are controlled conveniently through the free Kawai PianoRemote app for smartphone and tablet, connected via Bluetooth.
