A handcrafted Spanish guitar that accelerates your progress

With the Alhambra 2C you hold a genuine Spanish classical guitar, handcrafted at the Alhambra workshop in Muro de Alcoy, southern Spain. As a classical guitar for beginners and advancing players, it is made for ambitious beginners and students who want to play an instrument with the warm, full sound of a solid top right from the start. Classical, folk or modern pieces – the 2C accompanies you confidently through every stage of learning.

Solid cedar top for a warm, projecting sound

The heart of the 2C is its solid cedar top. Unlike entry-level guitars with a laminated top, a solid top vibrates freely and matures tonally over the years. Cedar delivers a warm, round and immediately responsive tone with generous volume – exactly the foundation on which to build dynamics and expression from the very beginning.

Sapelli body and Spanish construction

The sapelli back and sides give the sound a balanced, present character. The African mahogany neck is joined to the body in the Spanish tradition (Spanish heel) for a stable, warp-resistant instrument. The rosewood fingerboard and 650 mm scale length offer the familiar geometry of a full-size 4/4 classical guitar.

Your advantages at a glance:

• Genuine Spanish lutherie: handcrafted at the Alhambra workshop in Spain.
• Solid cedar top: warm, voluminous sound that matures over the years.
• Balanced tone: sapelli body with present mids and projecting bass.
• Sturdy construction: mahogany neck with Spanish heel for long-lasting durability.
• Ready to play: original Alhambra gig bag included for transport.
