The Yamaha YRA-402 is a three-piece alto recorder made of Ecodear™ . This special plastic is a environmentally friendly variant in which part of the conventional petroleum-based material is replaced by Resins from plant starch was replaced.
Advantages of Ecodear™
The special material used in the YRS-402 has a significantly higher density than conventional plastic. This results in a more centered sound, improved blowing resistance, and easier response. These improvements make the Ecodear™ models sound even more like a wooden recorder. The windway of the YRS-402 B also has a more pronounced curvature, meeting the standards of professional recorders.
