Stage-ready comfort meets classic Ovation tone - the Celebrity Elite Mid CE44-5-G

With the Celebrity Elite Mid CE44-5-G, Ovation brings a steel-string acoustic to the stage that combines traditional craftsmanship with the brand's signature Lyrachord concept. The mid-depth body delivers plenty of acoustic volume while staying slim enough for comfortable standing performances through long sets. The distinctive Multi Soundhole design and the multi-hardwood epaulettes also make this guitar a genuine eye-catcher.

Solid spruce top with thoughtful bracing

The solid spruce top is supported by scalloped, quartersawn X-bracing for a fast response, clear highs and strong projection. Instead of a single centre soundhole, the Elite series uses several smaller openings around the edge of the top: this keeps the centre stiffer for more sustain while noticeably reducing feedback sensitivity at high stage volumes.

Slim, fast-playing neck for electric guitar players

The Nato neck with a bound Ovangkol fretboard and a 42.8 mm nut width feels pleasingly slim - players switching over from electric guitar will feel right at home. On stage, the OP-4CT preamp (three-band EQ, gain control, built-in tuner) paired with the CP-100 Slimline pickup delivers a reliable, natural sound straight through the PA.

Your benefits at a glance:

• Powerful projection: solid spruce top with scalloped X-bracing for clear highs and punch.
• Low feedback on stage: the Multi Soundhole design reduces howl-round at high volume.
• Comfortable handling: mid-depth body is deep enough for full tone, slim enough to play standing.
• Fast playability: slim Nato neck and 42.8 mm nut width, just like an electric guitar.
• Stage-ready: OP-4CT preamp with built-in tuner and CP-100 pickup for instant plug-in-and-play.
