The solid spruce top delivers a lively, dynamic response and a clear, overtone-rich tone typical of Martin. Back and sides made from mahogany high-pressure laminate (HPL) make the LX1E extra resistant to temperature and humidity changes – ideal for travel or outdoor use.

Comfortable playability in a travel-friendly size

With a 584 mm scale length and a 42.9 mm nut width, the LX1E sits comfortably in the hands of beginners and smaller players alike. The 20-fret Richlite fingerboard offers a grippy, low-maintenance surface, while the white Corian nut and compensated White Tusq saddle insert deliver clean intonation across the whole neck.
