Engelmann spruce meets sapele: clear, balanced, powerful

The solid Engelmann spruce top responds quickly and sensitively to every playing nuance, while the solid sapele back and sides deliver a warm, balanced foundation with strong projection. The dovetail neck joint transfers string vibration into the body with minimal loss, giving the M20E a musical, punchy character that cuts through even in a full band mix.

Craftsmanship down to the last detail

Herringbone purfling and a hand-inlaid wood rosette give the M20E a classic look, while TUSQ XL at the nut, saddle and bridge pins ensures optimal vibration transfer and tuning stability. The satin gold-plated tuners with rosewood buttons round off the premium look and keep the guitar reliably in tune.

Stage-ready thanks to the LR Baggs Element Active System VTC

For live use, the LR Baggs Element Active System VTC pairs an under-saddle piezo pickup with an endpin-mounted preamp: volume and tone are controlled right at the soundhole, and a built-in low-frequency compressor keeps the sound balanced and never boomy, even in a busy mix.
