Twelve lines, one complete octave

This adhesive system marks a complete chromatic octave with 12 lines: 5 white and 7 coloured, arranged like the black and white keys of a piano. Finger positions, keys and whole and half steps become instantly visible; many teachers use the colour transitions directly to teach finger positions.

Quality material, removes without a trace

Designed by Dr. Phillip Coonce, himself a violinist and teacher, the marker is made from transparent, abrasion-resistant vinyl. It applies easily to the fingerboard and can be removed cleanly whenever needed, leaving the instrument undamaged.
