The Caballero by MR CA-EUCM “Senorita” was designed by Manuel Rodríguez together with GEWA’s development team for players who need a shorter scale and a narrower fingerboard – adults with smaller hands as well as children from around age 11. Despite its compact 7/8 size, it follows the same construction principle found in classical master guitars.

Genuine Spanish heel for a stable, resonant tone

The real hallmark of this classical guitar is its genuine Spanish heel: the neck and body are joined in one piece inside the instrument – a highly complex, traditional method of construction that delivers outstanding vibration transfer, excellent stability and a long, sustaining tone usually found only on far more expensive master-built guitars.

Cedar top and mahogany body for a warm, round sound

The solid Canadian red cedar top delivers a warm, deep, already “played-in” tone right from the start, responding sensitively to every nuance of the picking hand. Mahogany back and sides add a round, soft foundation to the sound, while the robust Carpathian maple neck ensures lasting tuning stability.

Comfortable ergonomics for smaller hands

With a shortened 620 mm scale length and a narrower 48 mm nut width, this classical guitar is noticeably easier to play than a standard classical guitar with a 52 mm nut. The reduced string spacing puts less strain on the tendons, making playing significantly more comfortable for younger players or smaller hands.
