The NCX3 impresses with its all-solid construction. The combination of a solid Sitka spruce top and a body of solid walnut delivers an exceptionally clear, modern sound with tight bass and bell-like overtones. What makes it special: Yamaha has optimised the bracing (the internal strutting) so that the guitar delivers a bass response otherwise found only in far larger bodies.

Atmosfeel™ – The New Standard for Live Sound

The heart of the NCX3 is the Atmosfeel™ three-way system. It combines a piezo sensor in the bridge, a contact sensor under the top and a built-in microphone. Using the Mic Blend control you can blend in the microphone continuously, creating a sound so natural and airy that it is as if a high-quality studio microphone were standing in front of the guitar – and all with remarkably low feedback.
