Balanced tone thanks to ML bore and brass bell

With its medium-large ML bore of 11.68 mm (.460”), the TR272 offers a pleasing balance between easy response and full sound volume. The two-piece brass bell with a 120 mm diameter (Ø 4 3/4”) and a hand-finished bell rim with wire delivers a round, warm tone with good projection – from quiet practice to powerful ensemble playing.

Goldbrass leadpipe and durable mechanics

The goldbrass leadpipe gives the sound a warm, soft character and supports a secure response across all registers. The stainless-steel valves with aluminium valve stems run smoothly and precisely, while the thumb saddle on the 1st valve slide and the finger ring on the 3rd valve slide allow fine intonation adjustment. The nickel-silver outer slides and the high-quality GEWA clear lacquer make the trumpet robust and long-lasting.
